SVP, Head of Growth, dentsu X
With over 12 years of experience in media, Preston has a diversified skillset having held a variety of senior roles in client development and organizational growth across several leading agencies. As the SVP, Head of Growth for dentsu X US, he is responsible for driving new business and organic growth for one of the network’s fastest growing agencies.
Before joining dentsu, Preston was President of True Media, an independent media agency based in the Midwest, where he oversaw the U.S. management team, business operations and client growth. During his time at True Media, Preston grew the agency in both total billings and headcount.
Prior to that, Preston oversaw Business Development and Marketing operations for MDC Media Partners (Assembly, GALE, Unique Influence) and helped land new business wins of over $1.5B including brands such as 21st Century Fox, E*TRADE, Red Robin, Audible, Boehringer Ingelheim, Nickelodeon, GameStop and Pabst, among others. His contributions to Assembly’s growth program helped the organization earn 2018 Ad Age Agency of the Year and 2019 Forrester Wave Leader. Preston has also held New Business and Activation roles at IPG Mediabrands agencies UM and BPN.
Outside of work Preston is an avid sports fan, traveler, BBQer, and recently took on the new role of Dad.
