Global General Manager
Hugh Semple is the Global General Manager for dentsu X. Hugh has been with dentsu international since joining from Publicis in 2007 and within this time worked across a number of the group's brands (including Carat and Vizeum) as well as a number of specialist disciplines (including commercial, legal, data and investment).
Having started in the UK market planning and buying for the likes of P&G, Cadbury and Heinz, Hugh moved into an international role and spent 15 years managing the international accounts of clients such as Levi Strauss, UBS, MasterCard, LEGO, Pernod Ricard, Beiersdorf, Pfizer and Panasonic.
Hugh joined the dentsu media management team in 2016 to help grow the business from an APAC focused network with 27 offices to a global network of 59 offices. As part of this, Hugh managed the successful launch of the dentsu X brand across the global network and with it, its integrated full service philosophy derives from its Japanese heritage.
